Women's history month Spotlight 2026
Happy Women’s History Month! Each March, we celebrate the countless global contributions of women. It’s a time to learn about, and highlight history-makers, change-agents, and all around inspiring women doing amazing things in their communities and beyond.
This year, I wanted to do something extra special!
I’m so grateful that life has allowed me to meet and be in community with (whether in big or small ways) some incredible women through my professional, academic or social relationships. I’m excited that several of them have allowed me the privilege of sharing their inspiring stories and life-giving wisdom.
In alignment with this year’s national Women’s History Month theme, “Leading the Change: Women Shaping a Sustainable Future,” I’m delighted to particularly celebrate the contributions of women who are leading sustainability efforts across environmental, economic, educational and social justice movements. This list includes educators, entrepreneurs, elected officials, corporate leaders, artists, healers and women on the front lines of liberation movements.
This spotlight series also aligns with my mission under the umbrella of my online platform, SoulFull by Design. As a therapist, author, and blogger, I use this space to center and uplift important conversations related to Black women’s mental health and holistic well-being. Highlighting women who embody purpose, service, and leadership AND center joy, rest, mutual aid and care and sisterhood, is a natural extension of that mission.
Follow along on Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIN this month for each “soulFULLy she shines” spotlight!
